The Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) ICT support Intervention of College of Education Zing has organized second phase of staff training on Website Design and Content Upload. The training began on Monday the 10tg of August 2020 at the College of Education Zing Consult Limited, the training is facilitated by the Bitbyte Technologies Enterprises.
Declaring the training open the Provost of the College Dr Mike Dio Jen represented by the Deputy Provost Alhaji Muhammad Adau Nayaya congratulated the participants for been selected for the training and called on them to be serious and to endeavor to actively partake in all segments of the training, because they will play vital role in the management of the school portal.
Alhaji Muhammad appreciated efforts of the Bitbyte Technologies Enterprises for their constant and good working relationship and also lauded commitments of the ICT Ccentre of the College for their tireless efforts at ensuring successful accomplishment of the training.
Also speaking was the Director ICT Centre Mallam Bello Ali who explained that the training focuses on ten participants with the purpose of capacity building on Website Design and Content Upload. The content of the training includes the following:
Introduction to Dynamic Website Design
Web Hosting and Domain Management
Introduction to Dynamic Website Design using word process
Presentation of coezing.edu.ng/coezing.ng and Content management and Uploading.
Mallam Bello expressed optimism that at the end of the training participants should be equipped with the required skills on Website Design and Content Upload which will in turn help the ICT Centre of the College to come up with formidable ICT team for all ICT related activities.
Speaking further the Director ICT on behalf of the Provost and the entire College Community thanked TETFUND for several interventions on physical and staff development of the College as well as ICT support intervention on staff training and Website Remodeling.
Also the facilitator of the Bitbyte Technologies Enterprises led by Mr Gabriel Mwajim and Co stressed the importance of ICT to the College, while urging participants to be attentive during the training.
Delivering a closing remarks the Chairman ICT Development Committee (ICTDC) Dr Tijjani Karofi said the ICT Centre of the College is doing it’s best to ensure that activities of the College are well digitized and portrayed.
Dr Tijjani thanked TETFUND for it’s usual efforts through it series of interventions to the College in the same vein he appreciated the Provost Dr Mike Dio Jen and the facilitators of the training, the Bitbyte Technologies Enterprises for the cordial relationship and prompt response to duty.
